Helicopter Ball Drop Raffle To support Saints Campus Renovation

A helicopter drops more than 600 golf balls on the 18th green of The Pines Course at The International golf club in Bolton to determine the winner of the 50/50 raffle at the 22nd Annual Lowell General Hospital Golf Challenge on Monday, Aug. 21. The owner of the ball that landed closest to the pin (which this year went in the hole!), was the winner of $4,600.

Lowell, Mass. – Entries are still available for the Helicopter Ball Drop Raffle, an annual highlight of Lowell General Hospital’s Golf Challenge on Aug. 19 at The International in Bolton.
The Helicopter Ball Drop is a 50/50 raffle with a dramatic twist. Each entry buys a golf ball, which will be delivered and dropped by a swooping helicopter onto the 18th green. The lucky winner is the person whose ball comes closest to the pin. Last year, the winner won $3,600.
The Helicopter Ball Drop is sponsored by Trinity Emergency Medical Services. The donations from the 50/50 Helicopter Ball Drop and the Golf Challenge will support the first floor renovation of Lowell General Hospital’s Saints Campus.
Only 1,000 balls will be sold. Chances to win the Helicopter Ball Drop are available: 1 for $20, 3 for $40, or 7 for $100. You do not need to be present to win. To purchase entries, please contact Kacey Decker:  [email protected] or visit
