The red-hot Dracut High baseball team scored four runs in the fifth inning to rally past Tewksbury High, 6-5, Saturday afternoon at Strong Field in Tewksbury.
Patrick Crowley went the distance on the hill for the Middies, scattering six hits and striking out three and allowed just one earned run.
Tewksbury jumped out to an early lead with four runs in the home half of the first. The Redmen took advantage of some sloppy Dracut fielding, with big hits coming from Tyler Keough and Kyle Zervas (3 hits).
Trailing 5-2, Dracut mounted their comeback in the fifth, sparked by a clutch two-out hit by Kyle Cox that plated a pair of runs. John Cormier and Brad Keefe also had RBIs for Dracut. Sean McMeniman, Danny Robichaud , Patrick O'Toole and Devin Lambert added hits for the Middies.
Chad Boschetti started on the mound for Tewksbury, allowing four runs (two earned) over 4.2 innings.
Dracut has won four of its last five game to raise its record to 6-7 on the season.
