Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union Searches for Hometown Heroes

May 13, 2019 05:02AM

LOWELL – For the second consecutive year, Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is holding its Hometown Hero campaign. The campaign gives community members the opportunity to nominate someone they know, who goes above and beyond in their community, to be named a “Hometown Hero.” The Credit Union will choose four winners from all nominations, and each will receive a $250 cash prize.

The Hometown Hero campaign kicked off on April 29, 2019 as part of the Credit Union’s Small Acts That Give Back initiative. Nominations will be accepted through May 24th. All community members can visit any branch or the Credit Union’s website, LoveJDCU.com, to fill out the nomination form. The nominator is required to provide the reasons why his or her nomination deserves to be a “Hometown Hero”.

“This campaign allows community members to recognize people who have had a special impact on the lives of our neighbors,” said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. “We heard so many powerful stories during last year’s Hometown Hero campaign, and we know there are so many more individuals who continue to spread kindness and joy throughout our community.”
