Megan's House Program Director Honored

(Editor's note: The following information was published by Megan's House.)

For more than two decades, MaryBeth Murphy has helped countless young women in recovery, and no doubt saved more than a few lives. Those efforts recently caught the attention of a local organization dedicated to making our community a better place.

The Non-Profit Alliance of Greater Lowell recognized the Megan’s House Program Director at their 3rd Annual Awards Breakfast last week. Murphy joined a distinguished group of individuals nominated as finalists in several categories for their contributions to the region.

“It is humbling to be mentioned in the same breath with such a select group of people who make a difference in our communities,” Murphy said. “This honor is truly a team effort and highlights the amazing efforts of our entire staff and the hard work our residents put into their recovery.”

The NPA of Greater Lowell, a coalition of more than 60 community non-profits, was founded in 2002 with a mission to build collaboration that strengthens the influence and impact of community-based organizations through sharing resources and advancing excellence in administration.
