Obituary: John "Jack" M. Langlois, 61

John "Jack" M. Langlois

CHELMSFORD- John "Jack" M. Langlois, 61, of  DRACUT, passed away on Thursday, January 17th, at Palm Skilled Nursing Care Center, after battling a lengthy illness,  He was the husband of Patricia (D'Arezzo) Langlois.

Jack was born on September 4, 1957 in Lowell, a son of Roland Langlois of Boynton Beach, Florida and the late Joan (Quinn) Langlois, who passed away in 1984.

Jack was a lifelong resident of Dracut, MA, educated in the Dracut school system and graduated from Dracut High School Class of 1975.  He was employed as a Postal Supervisor in the Lowell Post Office until his retirement.

In his free time you could find Jack cooking, golfing or gardening.  He was an avid Boston sports fan, the Red Sox being his favorite team.  He also enjoyed trips to the beach and Newfound Lake.

Besides his wife, Jack is survived and will be deeply missed by his son Joe Langlois, his siblings, Richard Langlois of Dracut, Rita Phipps and her husband Bob of Dracut and Jim Langlois and his wife Sue of Pelham, NH.  He also leaves three brothers-in-law Steve, Jackie, and Tommy D'Arezzo, as well as several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, January 24th from 4:00 to 6:00 in DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT.  His funeral service will follow in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, doonations may be made in Jack's memory to:  Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway St., Lowell, MA 01854.
