Gary D. Stahl

LONDONDERRY, NH - Gary D. Stahl, 58, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, December 24 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Donna M. (Koretnicki) Stahl, with whom he celebrated 36 years of marriage, and a devoted father to his sons Jason D. Stahl of Woburn, MA and Derek M. Stahl of Londonderry, NH, who will miss him deeply.

Gary’s wife and sons were always first and foremost in his life. He passionately followed his sons’ pursuit of the sport of hockey and followed them wherever their paths led them; one to Western New York and the other across New England. He was both a coach and a fan and never missed a game.

Gary was born in Niskayuna, NY on December 20, 1960, son of the late Mary E. (Cummings) and Donald A. Stahl. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and served his country proudly until his honorable discharge. He was employed as an Executive Director of Implementation for Extenet Systems based in Chicago, IL.

In his free time, Gary enjoyed cooking, grilling, and relaxing while smoking his cigars on the back deck. He also loved hunting, fishing and bird watching as well as spending time with Donna at the beach.

Gary also leaves behind a brother, Robert Stahl and his wife Susanne of North Carolina, a sister Donna L. Stahl of New York, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were entrusted to the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT, MA.Donations may be made in Gary’s memory to: Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, 1820 W.
