Dracut High Football Team Eyes Second Straight Upset Win

Fresh off an upset win over No. 1 seed (and previously unbeaten) Marblehead in the opening round of the Division 4 North Sectional, the Dracut High football team will take their road show to Wayland Friday night at 7 p.m. to take on the No. 5 Warriors (6-2).
The Middies (4-3) opened the tournament with a convincing 28-14 win over the Magicians. Quarterback Devin Lambert threw three touchdown passes and ran for a fourth to lead Dracut. The Middies scored on their first four possessions and lead 28-7 at halftime.
Cam McCullough (40, 18) had a pair of touchdown catches. Joseph Petka hauled in a 30-yard scoring strike.
Wayland opened the tournament with a resounding 42-16 win on the road at No. 4 Burlington.
The winner of Friday night's game will take on the winner of No. 2 Gloucester (7-1) vs. No. 6 Revere (5-3) for the North Sectional title.
