Visitors had a chance to tour the new Circle Health Dracut facility.
Hundreds of residents turned out recently for a community open house, kicking off the grand opening of Circle Health Dracut
The three-story facility, located at the corner of Broadway and Loon Hill Road, is home to a Circle Health Urgent Care, Lowell General Hospital Patient Service Center, a primary care provider practice and the new location of the Lowell General Hospital Diabetes and Endocrine Center.
This is the third Circle Health facility to open in the Merrimack Valley in recent years. Westford opened in 2014 and Billerica opened in 2017. A fourth facility, to be located on Route 38 in Tewksbury, is scheduled to open in Spring 2019.
The community open house for Circle Health Dracut included health screenings, tours of the new facility, raffle prizes from local businesses and fun family activities. Providers from Circle Health were also be on hand to answer questions and meet residents.
Circle Health is the parent organization for Lowell General Hospital. The new Circle Health satellite facilities are intended to extend the reach of LGH patient care into the communities surrounding Lowell.
Not only will LGH patients be able to access an urgent care clinic close to home, that facility will have complete access to the patient's records. Using its "Complete connected careSM" system, the urgent care staff can link directly with primary care physicians, specialists and the Lowell General Hospital campuses.
