Obituary: Kerrie Anne Collman, 48

DRACUT - Kerrie Anne Collman, age 48, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018 at High Pointe House in Haverhill after a long battle with lung cancer. For eighteen years, she was the beloved wife, soulmate and best friend of Lyle C. Collman, III.

Kerrie was born in Woburn on July 20, 1970, the daughter of Paul Cogan of Woburn and the late Mildred "Millie" (Gerry) Cogan.  She was raised in Woburn and graduated from Woburn High School, Class of 1988.  After high school, she attended cosmetology school for hair styling.

Kerrie was currently employed as a manager at MAP Communications, formerly Metro Medical, in Burlington and Chelmsford for over twenty years.  She enjoyed taking trips and vacationing at Hampton and Rye.  She loved the beach, the sound of the waves, perfect sunrises and her favorite TV show, "Friends".  Kerrie had a heart of gold and was a selfless person who always put others before herself, even during her illness.  She was all about her kids and loved nothing more than being with her family.

Besides her loving husband, Lyle, she is survived by her father, Paul Cogan of Woburn;  her two children, Zach Collman, a freshman at Dracut High School and Jordyn Collman, a 7th grade student at Richardson Middle School;  two brothers, Michael Cogan and his wife, Traci of Dracut and Brian Cogan of Woburn;  her mother-in-law, Helen Collman and her companion, Dennis Blois of Billerica;  two sisters-in-law, Amy Anello and her husband, Joseph of Dracut and Andrea Cogan of Halifax;  her nieces and nephews, Michael, Brayden, Rylie, Kylie, Madison, Connor, Logan and Emma;  also many aunts, uncles and cousins.

ARRANGEMENTS - Family and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate Kerrie's life on Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 4 to 8pm at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at Ste. Marguerite d'Youville Church, 1340 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Friends are asked to please, meet at church. Interment in Oakland Cemetery, Dracut. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kerrie's memory may be made to the Sophia Gordon Cancer Center at Lahey Clinic, 41 Mall Rd., Burlington, MA 01805.
