Obituary: Diane M. (Morrissette) Monbleau, 71

Diane M. (Morrissette) Monbleau

DRACUT- Diane M. (Morrissette) Monbleau, 71, passed away, Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Fairhaven Healthcare Center, Lowell. She was the beloved wife of Paul Monbleau, with whom she would have celebrated 52 years of marriage, October 1st.

Diane was born in Lowell, a daughter of Gloria (Maille) Morrissette of Lowell and the late Roland A. Morrissette who passed away in 2012. She grew up in Lowell and was a member of the Lowell High School graduating Class of 1965. Upon her graduation she attended Secretarial School. She put her skills to good use at St. Joseph's Hospital where she was employed as an Administrative Assistance for many years prior to her retirement.

In her free time, Diane could be found knitting. She was an amazing knitter with great technical skill. She knitted hats for all the babies in the local hospitals, as well as sweaters for her friends and family that were her own original designs. She was also known for her photography. She had her camera with her at all times so that she wouldn't miss a memorable moment. She was her families "personal paparazzi." But most of all, Diane was known for her love and devotion to her family. Her family was everything to her. She doted on her Grandchildren and enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by her family.

Besides her husband and mother, Diane is survived and will be deeply missed by her children: Philip and his wife Myung-hee of Arizona, and Steven and his wife Marianne of Billerica, her five Grandchildren: Nicholas, Madison, Zachary, Alexander and Stephanie. She also leaves her siblings: Linda and her husband Richard White, Roland "Butch" and his wife Diane Morrissette, Doris Morrissette, Donna and her husband Moe Derry, Pat and her husband Gene Bannon, Robin Speronis and Roy and his wife Donna Morrissette.

Diane was Pre-deceased by her Father Roland Morrissette and Brother-in-law "Zenny" Speronis.
