Sabrina Heisey, who is running for State Representative in the 36th Middlesex District, was endorsed by the Working Families Party, which works to elect Progressive candidates across the country.

Georgia Hollister Isman, New England Political Director, Working Families Party said "Sabrina will bring a new voice to the State House, one that clear and strong in its support of working women and men. We are proud to support her."

Upon learning about the endorsement, Heisey said ‘I am elated to have the support of the WFP. The families of this district are being left behind in the Massachusetts State House when it comes to education, healthcare and housing. I will stand up for the residents of Dracut and Tyngsborough that have not had a champion for these real issues.”

The Working Families Party is a national political organization that is recruiting, training, and electing the next generation of progressive leaders to office. The WFP plans to work in more than 1,000 races this year, large and small, in an effort to elect more progressive leaders and end Republican control of Congress and in state houses.
