State Rep. Colleen Garry, D-Dracut, has received the endorsement of the Tyngsborough Firefighters Association in her bid for re-election in the 36th Middlesex District.
In a letter announcing the endorsement, TFA Chairman John R. Pelletier touted Garry's experience and commitment to the needs of constituents.
"It is with great pleasure that the members of the Tyngsborough Firefighters Association endorse you on your candidacy for re-election as State Representative for the Commonwealth's 36th Middlesex District of Tyngsborough and Dracut.
"We are honored that you have represented the residents of Tyngsborough for so many years and have done so by putting your constituents first. We also admire that you are not afraid to do what is right and willing to cross political party lines to work with all representatives to get the job done.
"We look forward to working with you in the future."
Garry is being challenged in the Democratic Primary by Dracut School Committee member Sabrina Heisey. Ray Leczynski is the lone Republican in the race.
