ANDOVER – Longtime Democratic activist Janet Beyer has endorsed Dan Koh in the Third District congressional race. Beyer has served as a member of the Massachusetts Democratic State Committee since 2000. She also has served as Chairwoman of the Concord Democratic Town Committee, as a member of the Electoral College, and as one of the first women on the Concord Board of Appeals. Additionally, she served as Chair of the Third Middlesex Area Democrats and is currently a clerk of that organization.

"The Honorable Janet Beyer has been an incredible grassroots activist in Concord, and I am so humbled to have her support," said Koh. "Janet has dedicated herself to the community through her service on town boards and her involvement in the League of Women Voters. She knows Concord inside and out, and I have loved listening to her thoughts about how we can improve this district. I look forward to continuing to learn from her in the weeks ahead."
"I am excited to endorse Dan’s campaign," said Beyer. "I have lived in Concord for over fifty years, and I believe that Dan is the best candidate to represent Concord and the rest of the Third District. He is exactly the kind of young and diverse Democratic leader we need. He doesn’t just talk – he had a great track record as Chief of Staff to Mayor Walsh, and he has real experience helping people.  I know that in Congress, Dan will be a strong advocate for our shared values."
