Nelson J. Muise

DRACUT, MA - Nelson J. Muise, 76, died peacefully, SATURDAY, June 16th, at the High Pointe House in Haverhill, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Lucille M. (Bevilacqua) Muise of whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Nelson was born in Grosse Coques, Nova Scotia on May 10, 1942, a son of the late Marie Zita (Doucet) and Joseph Legere Muise. Nelson enlisted in the US Army and served his country proudly until being honorably discharged.

Nelson owned and operated TechMed Inc., a medical equipment supplier company since 1990.

Nelson will mostly be remembered for the love he had for his family. He enjoyed traveling to Nova Scotia to visit family and making people laugh. In his free time, Nelson could be found at old car shows, Mohegan Sun, or eating breakfast at M.L Shaws. He took great pride in the years that he owned his boat. He completed his goal of traveling to Nova Scotia by boat and although everybody thought he was crazy for trying to make the journey, he made it.

In addition to his wife, Nelson is survived and will be deeply missed by his children, Joseph and his wife Mary of Fischers, Indiana, Renee and her husband Ed Dufault of Hudson, NH, Lisa Lupien and her fiance Rich Carter of Pelham, NH; siblings, Edith Suggs of Tennessee, Rachelle and her husband Ken Lundgren of Melrose, Ernest and his wife Lorraine Muise of Little Brook, Nova Scotia; 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Robert, Ashley, Adam, Abigail, Tiffany, and Donald; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
