#VOTEPROCHOICE, a radically inclusive political engagement platform focused on electing prochoice champions up and down the ballot, just endorsed Sabrina Heisey who is running to represent the 36th Middlesex District as a State Representative. #VOTEPROCHOICE is endorsing Sabrina Heisey because of her unwavering support of reproductive rights for all in the state.

Heidi Sieck, Co-founder and CEO of #VOTEPROCHOICE said after endorsing Sabrina that prochoice champions can win in red or even purple areas. “Seventy percent of Americans support safe and legal access to abortion. That includes areas of Dracut and Tyngsborough. We’re identifying these prochoice voters and mobilizing them to #VOTEPROCHOICE on September 4, 2018. Sabrina Heisey can win — and voters who support access to essential healthcare services like birth control, and safe, legal, and affordable abortion will turn out to support the campaign.”

Sabrina Heisey said “a woman’s right to choose is at its core an economic issue. We must let women make autonomous decisions about what to do with their bodies and their lives. We need to trust women.”

Since 2016, #VOTEPROCHOICE has worked to elect prochoice candidates at every level of government. As part of the 2017 resistance movement, #VOTEPROCHOICE endorsed 60 candidates, sent out over 3 million #VOTEPROCHOICE Voter Guides, texted with over 200,000 voters to help turn out the prochoice vote in elections from school board to statewide judicial races. Sixty percent of their endorsed candidates were elected. In 2018, Sabrina Heisey joins the #ROEvolution, the group’s campaign to elect over 300 prochoice champions in 2018.
