Obituary: Rose E. (Parenchuck) Noel, 77

DRACUT, MA - Rose E. (Parenchuck) Noel, 77, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away unexpectedly, Monday, May 21st, at her home in Dracut, MA. She was the beloved wife of Raoul H. "Hank" Noel with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.

Rose was born in Brattleboro, VT, on August 30, 1940, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Field) and Chester Parenchuck. She was a, graduate of Mahar Regional High School. 

In her free time, Rose was known as collecting "just the right" shoe, enjoying her time at the beach, sewing, and avidly shopping. However, she was known first and foremost for her compassion, care, and love for her family of which she was considered the glue that held everything together. 

Rose courageously battled cancer with strength, grace, and dignity. She followed her motto of "Happy Cancer" until her last day. Rose dedicated her life to her family. Her pride and joy was doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved the beach, and especially enjoyed traveling to the Caribbean.

Besides her husband, Hank, Rose is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, Marie and Tom Hanley of New Ipswich, NH, Steve and Linda Noel of Woodinville, WA, Betsy Noel of Windham, NH, and her companion Kevin LaGree of Londonderry, NH, and Danielle Noel and Mark Somerville of Tyngsboro, MA; siblings, Carol Nason and her husband, Richard of Groton, MA, Dawn Whitney and her husband Craig of Richmond, NH, and Donna Foster and her husband Leonard of Orange, MA; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hernandez, Cameron and Connor Matthews, Sarah and Noelle LaBranche, and Alden and Peyton Somerville; and great-grandchild, Katalina Melendez.

She joined her son, Chris who passed away in January, 2006, with open arms.
