AFSCME Local 1703 Endorses Koh For Congress

(Editor's Note: the following information was provided by the office of Dan Koh for Congress.)ANDOVER, MA – Underscoring that Dan Koh is "exactly who we need in Congress," AFSCME Local 1703 has endorsed Koh in the Third District Congressional race. Local 1703 represents 1,200 public employees and is the sixteenth union endorsement that Koh has received, more than any other candidate. Koh has also been endorsed by NPMHU Local 301, the New England Regional Council of Carpenters, Laborers Local 39, Plumbers and Gasfitters Local 12, AFSCME Local 1705, Laborers Local 243, IUPAT DC 35, Pipefitters Local 537, Laborers Local 175, IBEW Local 96, Laborers Local 609, IUEC Local 4, IUOE Local 4, Laborers Local 88, and Wreckers Local 1421.
"For years, collective bargaining rights have been under attack, culminating in the disastrous Janus v. AFSCME case in front of the Supreme Court," said Koh. "We need to stand up and fight back. That's why I am grateful to have earned the endorsement of AFSCME Local 1703 and Local 1705. As Congressman, I will oppose efforts to undermine unions and fight to create an economy that works for everyone."
