Dracut's McMeniman Third In Javelin At Penn Relays

Each year, many of the top track and field athletes in the country gather in Philadelphia for the annual Penn Relays.
This week, Dracut High senior Erin McMeniman showed she had earned her place among the elite.
McMeniman, who is headed to Brown University this fall, turned in an outstanding performance in the javelin, placing 3rd in the high school division with a best throw of 140 feet, 9 inches.
Skylar Ciccolini of Mifflin High in Lewiston, Penn., dominated the event with an eye-popping throw of 172 feet, 3 inches.
