Here is a look at what's open and closed on Patriots Day, Monday, April 18.

Banks: All banks are open.

State courts: closed

Federal courts: open

Town Hall: Closed

Town Library: Closed

Senior Center: Closed

Trash and Recycling Pickup: Delayed one day this week

Schools: It's a week-long school holiday.

Retailers: Open, including liquor stores

Financial marketsOpen

Retail stores: Open

Liquor stores: Open

Supermarkets: Open

Convenience stores: Open

Taverns, bars: Open

Massachusetts State Parks: Open

Post OfficesOpen

Massachusetts Registry of Motor VehiclesClosed

MBTA: The Red, Blue, Orange, Green, and Mattapan lines will operate on their regular weekday schedule with extra service before and after the Marathon. Copley Station will be closed all day. Buses and trackless trolleys will operate on a Saturday schedule. MBTA commuter boats will operate regular weekday service. The Ride will operate on a modified weekday schedule and recommends that you check with your contractor directly for modified schedules. Commuter rail service will operate on its regular weekday schedule.
