Barbara L’Italien Opens Congressional Office In Andover

(Editor's Note: the following information was provided by Barbara L’Italien for Congress.)

ANDOVER, MA — Last week state Senator Barbara L’Italien officially opened her congressional campaign headquarters in Andover with a public event and day of action. Over 100 people turned out to the Dundee Park location to meet L’Italien and volunteer for her campaign.
Over coffee and breakfast, L’Italien spoke to supporters from all over the Merrimack Valley before rallying them for a day of volunteering.
“I started my legislative journey as a mom on a mission to help my son with autism. Since first being elected as a state representative from Andover in 2002, I’ve worked hard to tangibly, positively change the lives of families like mine and vulnerable people, from public school children to seniors to working families. Now I’m running to bring that mission to Congress,” said L’Italien.
The office is located at 1 Dundee Park Drive, Suite 4 in downtown Andover. It has been open since the beginning of March, with hundreds of volunteers, interns, and staff currently working out of the space.
“We’ve been so busy here already, and I look forward to even more activity," L'Italien continued. "I encourage all to stop by - we have a role for everyone.”
L’Italien was an Andover state representative from 2003 to 2011, a school committee member from 2013 to 2015, and has held her state Senate position since 2015, where she also represents Lawrence, Dracut, and Tewksbury. She is running for the seat currently held by Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, who will be retiring at the end of the year.
