Sabrina Heisey, a member of the Dracut School Committee who is challenging incumbent State Representative Colleen Garry in this year’s Democratic primary, received endorsements from Mass Alliance and NASW-MA PACE this week.
The two groups identify and support progressive Democratic candidates for public office across the Commonwealth. “I’m the only real Democrat seeking this office, and these organizations clearly understand the importance of supporting Democratic candidates,”
Heisey said. Heisey continued, “Although this is an exciting time for our campaign and the support I’m receiving demonstrates our momentum, the only endorsements that matter to me at the end of the day will come from the voters of this district.”
Heisey announced her candidacy to represent the Thirty-Sixth Middlesex District in the House of Representatives last month. The Democratic primary election will take place on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Voters can find their polling location by visiting
