Richard "Denny" King
Denny was born in Lowell, son of the late Angela (Cote) and Richard R. King. He grew up on the King Family Farm in Dracut. He graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1960.
Denny was a member of the Local Teamster's Union 49. He worked as a truck driver for Corenco Corp, E.A. Wilson, and later retired from J. G. MacLellan Concrete. Denny was also well known in the area as the owner of "Wood Busters".
Denny loved the outdoors and he loved to go fishing at North Camps on Rangeley Lake, Maine. Denny had a larger-than-life personality, loved to tell stories and make everybody laugh. He was a good man and well-liked by everyone. He was "one of a kind", always a true pal.
Besides his wife, Denny will be missed by his children Todd King of Apex, NC, Ryan King and his wife Jennifer of Hudson, NH, Courtney King of Dunedin, FL, and his stepdaughter Lisa Ainsworth and her husband Brent of Jayess, MS; his four Grandchildren Sarah and Tyler King, Logan and Jake Ainsworth; and his Siberian Husky and best pal "Thunder".
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, March 8th from 4-7:30 PM with his service immediately following at the Dracut Funeral Home.
