Armand J. Lambert
Armand was born in Lowell on November 4, 1924, a son of the late Hattie (Pelchat) and Thomas A. Lambert. He attended and graduated in the Lowell School system. He was a carpenter by trade and he worked for a lot of the local builders and contractors, such as Sherburne Lumber and Frank P. McCartin Electric Supplies. With those skills, he was proudly able to build two of his homes and two summer homes.
He was an avid horse rider and enjoyed camping. Armand had a big passion for music and played guitar since the age of 14.
Armand is survived and will be deeply missed by his children: Elaine Levasseur and her husband Robert of Marco Island, FL, Arlene Priest and her husband Edward of FL, Richard J. Lambert of Lowell, Denise Denver and her husband James of Tyngsboro, Diane Kozlowski and her husband Norman of Dracut; his 10 grandchildren; his 16 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; his siblings, Ray Lambert of Tyngsboro, Rita Borges and Theresa Valcourt both of Nashua, NH; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his siblings Cecile St. Onge, Wilford, Albert, Arthur, and Leo Lambert, and Claire Mainville.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends are invited to call on Thursday, March 1st, from 3 to 7PM at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, MA. His funeral will be held Friday, March 2nd from the funeral home at 10AM with his Funeral Mass to follow at 11AM at Ste. Marguerite D’Youville Church, Dracut. Burial will take place in the spring.
