A Dracut man was arraigned in Lowell District Court on Friday, accused of raping a child on multiple occasions.
Bryan Durand, 34, was charged with three counts of three counts of forcible rape of a child and three counts of aggravated rape of a child, according to a spokesman for the office of Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan.
Very little information was provided about the case, except that the alleged attacks took place in Dracut and that that victim was someone who was known to Durand.
The age and gender of the alleged victim was not disclosed. Dates and details of the alleged attacks were also not released.
Bail in the case was set at $10,000 cash. In addition, Judge Richmond Joseph ordered Durand to have no contact with the victim, comply with all Department of Children and Families regulations and have no contact with anyone under the age of 18.
Durand is scheduled to be back in court on March 8 for a pre-trial hearing.
