Dracut Firefighters participated in the First-Responder Challenge at the TD Boston Garden.
Last weekend, a team of Dracut Firefighters participated in the 2nd Annual First-Responders Challenge at the Boston TD Garden.
The event, sponsored by National Grid, invites local first responders and fitness enthusiasts from all over New England to participate in a course throughout TD Garden. The event also featured fun activities for family and friends of the participants.
Not only does the event raise awareness about health and wellness, it also raises funds for The 100 Club of Massachusetts, a charity that supports the families of law enforcement officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty.
There is still time to support the Dracut Firefighters' fundraising efforts, as donations will be accepted on the team's Crowdrise page until Feb. 21. Click here to make a donation.
The team published the following information on their Crowdrise page:
WE DID IT!!!!! The Garden was no match for us! Donations are open until February 21st! Please help put us on top helping a great cause!
Please support your Dracut Firefighters in participating in the 2nd Annual First Responder Challenge that will take place Sunday, January 28, 2018, at TD Garden.
The event takes place to raise awareness around health and wellness and to support The 100 Club of Massachusetts, a charity that supports the families of law enforcement officers and firefighters who are killed in the line of duty.
