ANDOVER-Alice (Peterof) Rosmus, 100, died peacefully, Tuesday, January 9th, at Academy Manor Nursing Home, Andover, Ma. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Rosmus who passed away September of 1994.

Alice was born in Andover on July 27, 1917, the daughter of the late Caroline (Puk) and Frank Peterof.

She worked for Meadowbrook Laundry of North Andover and later as a Production Assistant for Delaware Valley of Lawrence. She was an active member of the Polish National Catholic Church in Lawrence until its closing, she then became a member of St. Casimir's Polish National Church of Lowell.

In her free time Alice loved to knit, she was an avid reader and she made jewelry. She loved to travel with her family and she was part of the St. Casimir's pierogy making team.

Alice is survived by her three nieces and their families: Mrs. John (Carolyn) Guide of Atkinson, NH., Mrs. John (Judith) Monarca of Andover, Mrs. James (Cheryl) Grieve of Andover, six Great Nieces and Nephews: Jason and his wife Jennifer of Littleton, ME., Gregory Recupero of Andover, Stephanie (Recupero) Rowe and her husband Matthew of Jacksonville, FL., Jessica and Daniel Montesinos of Reading , Ma., James and Joseph Grieve both of Andover, Great Great Nieces and Nephews, Lily and Henry Monarca of Littleton, ME., and Colton and Reagan Rowe of Jacksonville,FL.

Besides her husband, Alice was predeceased by her brother Mitchell Peterof, her sister, Julia Dziura her brother Frank H. Peterof and her GodsonFrank J. Peterof.

Alice's family would like to thank the Staff of Academy Manor and Compassus Hospice for their special care and concern.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service in Alice's memory at St. Casimir's Polish National Church on January 20th at 10AM. Burial will take place in the Polish National Cemetery, Methuen, Ma. Donations can be made to Academy Manor Residents Council, 89 Morton St., Andover, Ma. 01810.
