Obituary: Theresa “Terry” A. (Gaudette) St. Sauveur, 78

She was born and raised in Lowell, a daughter of the late George and Aurore (Rondeau) Gaudette, and was a graduate of St. Louis Grammar School and Lowell Trade School. When Theresa was young; she worked at Lowell Symphonics and also Hathaway shirts before following her passion of caring for children. She was a home daycare provider to many children in the area for the past 48 yrs and most recently retiring with Clarendon Early Education Services.
She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame De Lourdes Church and later St. Margaret’s Church in Lowell. She was a member of the Notre Dame De Lourdes Ladies Sodality and also the League of Catholic Women. She loved to volunteer at the Holiday fairs.
Among her many interests; Terry enjoyed Duckpin bowling, Crocheting and going to Bingo but her most treasured times were spent with family and friends. Terry was a warm, caring and loving person who always put others first. She will be missed by those fortunate enough to have known her.
The family wishes to offer their sincere appreciation to the staff at Lowell General Hospital, Wingate of Belvidere and Merrimack Valley Hospice for the compassionate care she received the last few months.
Surviving her besides her husband are her two daughters: Dianne St. Sauveur, and her longtime companion Dennis Renaud; and Denise St. Sauveur, all of Lowell; her grandson: Daniel St. Sauveur, and his wife Stephanie, of Londondery, NH; and her two great-grandchildren: Farrah and Carter St. Sauveur; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves a dear friend Priscilla Benoit, of Lowell. She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter: Lilly Anne St. Sauveur; a sister Doris Boisvert, and her husband Leo; and her in-laws: Joanne and Jan Majder.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to join the family to honor and remember Terry on Friday October 27, from 4 until 8 pm at Dracut Funeral Home 2159 Lakeview Avenue., Dracut. Her Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Margaret's Church, Stevens Street, Lowell, on Saturday October 28, at 10 am. PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
