WESTFORD, MA - Janet E. (Riviere) Sheeley, 93, passed away Monday, October 23rd, at the Westford House. 

Janet was born in Manchester, MA on November 26, 1923, a daughter of the late Horace and Ernestine (Boudreau) Riviere. She was educated in Manchester and was a graduate of Manchester Essex Regional High School. She moved to Lowell when she was a teenager.

For over 50 years she worked for the former Bon Marche, Jordan Marsh, and Macy's selling cosmetics, until the age of 89.

Janet is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Valerie Sheeley of Lowell; her two grandchildren, Michael Sheeley and his wife Lynne, of Lexington, and Bret Sheeley and his wife, Joy of Derry, NH; three great-grandchildren, Khellen, Jack, and Lydia Sheeley; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Francis Sheeley, and her daughter-in-law, Judith (Baggs) Sheeley of Tewksbury. As well as her sister: Anita (Riviere) Heacock, and two brothers: Horace and William Riviere.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday October 27th, from 5 to 7 pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday October 28th, at 10:30 am. at the funeral home. Burial to folllow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
