Dracut Fire Chief Dave Brouillette leads Gay Corey on a tour of the Collinsville Fire Station.

Does the Collinsville Fire Station need to be replaced?
You be the judge.
Recently, DATV hosts Bob and Gay Corey took viewers on a tour of the station, led by Fire Chief Dave Brouillette.
In posting the video tour to its Facebook page, the Fire Department posted the following message:

As many of our residents are aware, the Collinsville Fire Station (also known as Station #3) located at 1990 Lakeview Avenue is an outdated structure. The continued rapid growth of Dracut and increases in services to the town requires additional equipment and personnel. The changes made to adapt the Collinsville Fire Station to function at it’s most basic necessities are exhausted.

The Collinsville Fire Station is the busiest house of the three in town. No signs of these volumes decreasing and more likely to increase in the future, we are looking at options to build a new station to serve the town’s busiest district.

Please take some time to view this video of a recent tour conducted with the team from DATV. We will also be holding future information events. We hope you find the information in the video helpful and look forward to your support in our efforts to build a new Collinsville Fire Station.

The complete tour can be seen below.
