DRACUT — Chief Peter Bartlett reports that the Dracut Police Department is actively investigating a residential burglary and is releasing video surveillance footage in an effort to enlist the public to assist in the case.

Yesterday afternoon, Dracut Police responded to a residence on Gerrish Avenue to take a report of a past breaking and entering. An investigator spoke with the resident who was able to private high-definition video footage from their front-door surveillance camera.

The footage (seen below) shows two male suspects eating and drinking before proceeding to the rear of the residence, off camera, and breaking into the home.

Several items, including jewelry and CDs were stolen from the home.

If anyone recognizes the suspects seen in the video or noticed anything suspicious in the area, they are urged to call Dracut Police at 978-957-2123
