LOWELL, MA - Katherine A. (Campbell) Romanowski, 82, died Tuesday, September 5th, at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Michael A. Romanowski with whom she just celebrated 60 years of marriage on September 2nd, 2017.

Katherine was born in Lowell, MA on May 30, 1935, a daughter of the late Margaret (McNamara) and Joseph Campbell. She was educated in Dracut and a graduate of Dracut High School.

She was a devoted wife and mother and dedicated her life to her family. Katherine enjoyed baking, traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. She was a former 'original' extraordinary minister for over 20 years at St. Michael's Church as well as being actively involved with the PTA there.

Along with her husband, Michael, Katherine is survived and will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Karen Coupal and her husband David of Dracut, and Judy Sullivan and her husband Dennis of Tyngsboro; her granddaughter, Amanda Sullivan; her five siblings, Mary Graham and her husband Michael of Dracut, James Campbell and his wife Anita of Lowell, Patricia Boumil and her husband John of Dracut, Margaret Melanson of Dracut, and Robert Campbell and his wife of Linda of Andover, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, John, and Walter Campbell.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 2 - 6 p.m. on SUNDAY, September 10, 2017, at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home at 9 a.m. on MONDAY, September 11th, with her funeral mass to follow at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Church, 115 Wheeler Road, Dracut. Burial will be held in Richardson Cemetery, Dracut. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Katherine's name to the Philanthropy Office, Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Avenue, Lowell, MA 01854.
