Ana C. Torres
She was born in Juana Diaz, PR on Jan 25th 1948, one of five children of the late Victor Torres Cardona & Herminia Reyes. She worked very hard for many years as a factory worker at the Lowell Mills in the glass factories and in a laundry department at a hotel in Lancaster, PA. She enjoyed hosting large get together parties for her friends and family and was an avid bingo and Trouble player.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five children, Carmen Hernandez of Lowell, Yolanda Torres of Tyngsboro, Narciso Cintron Jr of Hudson, NH, Marisel Cintron and her companion, Eddie DeJesus of Dracut, Ramon Cintron and his wife Marlene of Lowell; thirteen grandchildren, Joshua Heredia, Kayla I. Cintron, Rebecca Gonzalez, Stefanie I. Cintron, Andrew Brown III, Francesca Brown, Luis Gonzalez, Jr., Ileana M. Medina, Victor N. Cintron, Alexander N. Cintron, Malia Cintron, Natalie I. Cintron, and Damien Cintron, five great grandchildren, siblings in Puerto Rico, and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS - Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Ana at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket Street, Lowell on Tuesday, August 29 from 4 to 8pm. A Prayer Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Wednesday morning August 30 at 10 o'clock followed by interment in Westlawn II Cemetery, Lowell.
