Paint n’ Fun!

Our version of paint night! While walkins are welcome, prepayment is recommended because space is limited. Cost: $30/person, supplies included!

Brains and Balance Breakfast

Please join Rehab 365 for “Active Mind; Active Body,” part of our Brains, Balance & Breakfast series. We will learn about our brains as we age: what is normal and what is not. Fire Fighter’s Ice Cream Social

Come make your own Sunday and spend some time with some of our favorite first responders. The social is free, however we will offer a 50/50 raffle during the event with the proceeds going back to the Fire Department as a thank you for this event. There is an optional $2 lunch before the social of Hawaiian roasted pork.

Charles River Sightseeing Cruise
Friday, August 18th
A 70-minute, narrated cruise along the Charles River.  Sights include Beacon Hill, Esplanade Park, Back Bay, BU, M.I.T., Harvard and countless sailboats and rowers! Following the cruise lunch will be on your own at the Cambridgeside Galleria Mall. Cost of the cruise is $15/person and must be paid in cash upon signup. Home pick ups begin 9:30 AM.

Pack your towel and a good book for we are spending the morning/early afternoon at a beautiful beach. With a sand bar that lets you walk in calf-high water watching for hermit craps and sand dollars. There are bathrooms, showers, and a concession stand. We will be departing the COA around 8:30 AM to be at the beach as close to low tide as possible.

Queen of BINGO  Play at Publick House

Lunch and a play at the Publick House, Historic Inn in Sturbridge, MA.
Lunch is a choice of Yankee pot roast or herb roasted chicken with cornbread sausage stuffing. Both are served with bakery basket, house salad, potato, vegetable, and dessert. Special price of $50. Tickets on sale August 23rd immediately following Friends meeting (must be a Friends member for this special pricing). If you are not a member of the Friends, it is not too late to join.
The Queen of BINGO: Where can two sisters on the other side of fifty, who want to add a little zest, fun and excitement to their lives find it? Bingo! On any Bingo night at St. Joseph’s, you can find many off beat, colorful regulars we meet through the eyes of Sis and Babe. They compliment each other in ways only sisters can and they drive each other crazy in that same sisterly fashion. On this particular night, Babe and Sis share something new.
