Obituary: Anastasia J. (Samowski) Navaretta, 96

Anastasia was born in Lowell, MA on July 30, 1921, daughter of the late John and Apolonia (Stachowska) Samowski. Anastasia was a graduate of St. Stanislaus Grammar School and Lowell High School, and spent many of her years working at Lowell General Hospital as a housekeeper.
Anastasia enjoyed being involved in both the Holy Trinity Senior Citizens, and the Polish American Veterens.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Leslie Hassan and son-in-law John of Dracut; her sister, Helen Blanchard of Dracut; her two grandchildren, Neal Hassan and his wife Vatina of Haverhill, MA and Andrea Archambault and her husband Michael of Marlborough, NH; her granddaughter in-law, Theresa Hassan of Lowell; her ten great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband, she was predeceased by her four siblings, Josephine Krysiak, Nina Shlimon, Edward Samowski, and Julian Samowski, her grandson, Bernard Hassan, and her great-granddaughter, Julia Hassan.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, Massachusetts on MONDAY, August 14th at 9 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Maronite Church, 145 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lowell. Donations may be made in her memory to Holy Trinity Polish Catholic Church or St. Anthony's Maronite Catholic Church.
