Dracut Teen Cited In Three-Car Crash

An 18-year-old Dracut man is being blamed for a three-crash on Friday in Hudson, NH.
According to an article published by the Union-Leader, Zachary Bernardini was issued a citation by Hudson police following the collision, which took place just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Central Street and Lawrence Road.
According to a press release issued by police, Bernardini was driving a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder on Lawrence Road when he ran a stop sign. His vehicle collided with a Ford Fusion driven by James Nardone, 56, of Groton. The Nissan then slammed into a 2004 Toyota Sienna, driven by Sonya Colby, 41, of Hudson.
Bernardini's Nissan ended up on its side as a result of the collision, according to the release.
Colby, and three juveniles in her vehicle, were not hurt. Bernardini and Nardone were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
According to police, airbags were deployed in the Ford and the Nissan and all three drivers were wearing seatbelts, preventing more serious injuries.
Bernardini was cited for failure to yield right of way at a stop sign. No criminal charges have been filed by the accident remains under investigation, according to Hudson Police.
