A Hudson, NH man with a lengthy criminal record in two states, is behind bars again, this time accused of attempting to intimidate a witness.

Real Bureau, 35, was arrested Friday by police from Hudson and Pelham at 5 Frenette Drive in Hudson, according to a report in the Lowell Sun. The fugitive from justice arrest warrant was issued by the Dracut Police Department, which alleges Bureau attempted to intimidate a witness to a local crime.

Bureau's arrest record dates back at least 12 years and includes numerous drug charges, violation of parole, endangering the welfare of a child and domestic assault.

Bureau is being held on $20,000 cash bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua's 9th Circuit Court on Monday. It is not known if he plans to fight extradition to Massachusetts.
