The National Weather Service has issued the following sever weather alert for the Merrimack Valley:

There is the possibility for heavy rainfall in any thunderstorms
that may develop today into tonight. Some localized urban and poor
drainage flooding may result.
Some thunderstorms may produce local strong wind gusts mainly this
afternoon and evening. There is a low risk of localized wind damage.
Thursday...
There is the potential of heavy rainfall in any thunderstorms during
Thursday into Thursday night which may produce localized flooding. A
few storms may also produce strong to damaging winds.
The full forecast for the next few days looks like this:

Wednesday Afternoon
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 86. West wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight
A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Areas of fog after 4am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. Light northeast wind. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Thursday
Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after noon. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Areas of fog before 8am, then areas of fog after 4pm. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 76. Light east wind becoming northeast 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Thursday Night
A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Areas of fog before 9pm. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 59. Northeast wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Friday
A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 69. East wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Friday Night
A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Patchy fog after 1am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 59. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
