State Rep. Colleen Garry, D-Dracut, has announced her involvement with a American Legion Auxiliary Unit #235 to benefit homeless women Veterans.
The collection drive is focused on household and hygiene items that low-income women veterans are in need of.
Garry made the following announcement on her Facebook Page:

Please join me and my colleagues as we support a donation drive held by American Legion Auxiliary Unit #235 to benefit homeless women Veterans!

Despite their valiant service to our country, women Veterans face a wide variety of challenges.

Homelessness is just one issue facing women Veterans today, but it is one we can address together.

The following items are being collected in support of women Veterans:

Loofahs & Washcloths

Shaving Cream

Pads & Tampons

Body Wash

Hand Sanitizer

Face & Body Wipes

If you would like to drop them off at my district office/law office at 101 Broadway Road, Suite #22, Dracut, MA, I will be glad to get them to our women veterans!!
