Front garden at the Dracut Library

(Editor's Note: the following information was published by the Parker Library.)

Did you know that there are two gardens on the library grounds for you to enjoy? The Dracut Garden Club created and maintains a garden in front of the library and one outside the Children's Room.

The front garden is anchored by a Kousa Dogwood Tree and showcases a variety of shrubs and perennial plants.  Please feel free to walk across the lawn and check it out.

On the church side of the library, outside the Children's Room, is a memorial garden full of perennials, a bird house, and a butterfly bench where you can sit and read your favorite book. This garden can be seen from the Children's Room, but you'll see so much more if you walk around the building and check it out up close!

For more information about the Dracut Garden Club, please visit our webpage, or check out our Facebook page! We are always ready to welcome new members, too! We meet the first Wednesday of each month, March through December, at 7:00 pm at Harmony Hall on Lakeview Avenue.  For membership information, please contact Mary Ellen MCarthy at 978-957-1289, or email Kathy Gauthier.
