Obituary: Doris Theresa Kapala, 92

Lowell, MA- Doris Theresa Kapala, 92, died peacefully, Saturday, May 6th, at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore J. Kapala who died in 2002.

Doris was born in Lowell, MA on November 24, 1924, a daughter of the late Eva (Gamache) and Rosario LeBleu.

Doris dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family. She enjoyed quilting and singing, as well as taking various trips with the senior center. Above all, she enjoyed spending time and being surrounded by her family.

Doris is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Ruthann K. Suhre and her husband Mark of Lowell; son, Richard Kapala also of Lowell; three grandsons, Joshua Gauthier and Quinn and Reid Kapala; brother, Donald LeBleu and his wife Janine of Westford, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Theresa Clark, Dorothy Brule and Lorraine Boissonneault, and her brother, Arthur LeBleu.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respected from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 11th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Her funeral service will take place at the funeral home on FRIDAY at 10 a.m. with her burial to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chelmsford.
