Obituary: Ronald W. Whiting, 74

Hudson, NH - Ronald W. Whiting, 74, died peacefully, Monday, April 24th, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, with his family by his side. He is the beloved husband of 50 years to Barbara (Kalil) Whiting.

Ronald was born in Lowell, MA on February 1, 1943, a son of the late Helen H. (Hedrick) and Kenneth E. Whiting. He was raised in Lowell and a graduate of Lowell High School.

For many years, Ronald worked as a printer for Courier Citizen until its closing and then later for Comp USA.

Ronald was a handyman and was always puttering around the house. He loved being outside, tending to his yard and helping his neighbors with various projects. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family whom he loved dearly.

Along with his wife Barbara, Ronald is survived by his two children, Jeffrey Whiting and his wife Tara of Litchfield, NH and Jennifer Myshrall and her husband Derek of Hudson, NH; his brother, Philip Whiting of GA; sister, Linda Wingate and her husband Norman of Lowell; 4 beloved grandchildren, Tayla, Kylee, Nicholas and Justin; his in-laws, Suzanne Rouseau and her husband Victor of Washington, NH, Kathy Mahoney and her husband Dan of FL, Carole Paquin and her husband Bernie also of FL and Michael Crotty of Sailsbury; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ronald was predeceased by his brothers, Paul and Richard Whitting and in-laws, Sandra Crotty and Thomas Kalil.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Dracut Funeral Home.
