Obituary: Elizabeth A. (Elliott) Ralls, 84

LOWELL, MA - Elizabeth A. (Elliott) Ralls, 84, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Lowell, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald E. Ralls, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage until his passing in 2001.

Born in Lowell on March 5, 1933, she was a daughter of the late William and Mildred (Cunningham) Elliott. She graduated high school from Keith Hall and attended Catherine Laboure Nursing School, where she received her Registered Nursing Degree. For many years she worked as a R.N. for St. Johns Hospital as well as various hospitals and nursing homes. She also worked as a school nurse at PMA in Hudson, NH.

Elizabeth was a devoted and loving mother who dedicated her life to her family. She supported her children in everything and was very involved and proud hockey mom when they were younger. She was also a great cook. Elizabeth was a longtime communicant of St. Michael's Church where she was a volunteer as well as a Eucharistic minister. 

She is survived and will be deeply missed by her six children; Michael Ralls and his wife Shirley of Dracut, Kevin Ralls and David Ralls, both of Nashua, NH, Kathy Matte of Lunenburg, MA, Jane Ralls and Timothy Ralls, both of Nashua, NH; her five grandchildren; Stacy Woods and her husband Tim of Nashua, NH, Katie Ralls of Pelham, NH, Colleen Ralls of Dracut, Kellin Matte of Lowell, and Jillian Matte of Deerfield, NH; her three great-grandchildren, Cole, Chloe, and Adrianna; her two sisters, Jean Dean and Rae MacLeod and her husband Tom, all of Lowell; two brothers-in-law, Raymond Ralls of Lowell, and Austin Ralls and his wife Carolyn of North Chelmsford; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ralls of Lowell; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all of the nurses and staff at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home for all of the love and care they showed to Elizabeth during her time there.
