Lionel G. Gaulin
Lionel was born in Lowell, MA on September 29, 1926, a son of the late Alice (Fournier) and Leo Gaulin. He was educated in Lowell and a graduate of Lowell High School Upon graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy during WWII where he served proudly until being honorably discharged.
For many years, he worked as a facilities manager at the Wannalancit Mills.
Lionel was very good with his hands. He built the house he and Jeannette resided in on Forest Park Road, in Dracut. He also helped others building garages and sheds. He enjoyed a game of golf with hIs buddies and dancing with his wife at the Pawtucketville Social Club.
Along with his wife Jeanette, Lionel is survived by his sister, Estelle Godfrey of Lowell, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his son, Ronald L. Gaulin and his brother, Lucien Gaulin.
ARRANGEMENTS: At Lionel's request there are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass on MONDAY, March 13th at 10 a.m. at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chelmsford. Arrangements are under the direction of the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT.
