Dracut Police detectives are investigating the vandalism and robbery of a local "vape shop" last week.

Officers responded to Hookahs & Vapahs on Pleasant Street at around 2 a.m. Friday for a report of a burglary. They found that the front door and been smashed in with a rock and the store had been ransacked.

The owner of the store, Steve Kaltsas, told investigators that hundreds of dollars in merchandise had been stolen, including e-liquids and assorted vaporizer products.

Even as the investigation is ongoing, Kaltsas is taking matters into his own hands to find the culprit. He has offered a $5,000 reward for credible information leading to the identification and capture of the person or persons responsible for the break-in.

Hookahs & Vapahs opened in November, 2015 and was robbed a week later. This latest incident marked the first time the store had been robbed since then.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Kaltsas at 978-902-8109 or call Dracut police at 978-957-2123.
