Priscilla A (Daigle) Daigle
She was educated in Dracut schools and was a graduate of Salem State Teacher’s College. She began her teaching career in Townsend, MA and then taught at the Nashua Business College. She worked for the Dracut School Department as a teacher, secretary to the Superintendent, and later, as a substitute teacher. She served many years as the Dracut High School girls basketball coach. She also was a substitute for Pelham NH schools. Priscilla’s dedication to education led her to serve two terms on the Dracut School Committee. She was a member of the Dracut Historical Society. Priscilla worked several years as office manager for Gaudet & Co before her retirement.
Priscilla loved to travel, read, play cards, paint, camp and spend time with friends and family. Priscilla and Roger were able to fulfill a lifelong dream of hers by travelling to Europe in 1991. She was an avid sports fan. She bowled, played softball, and golfed for many years. While a member of the Whippoorwill Golf Course in Hudson, NH, she won the Woman’s Championship. She also coached girls’ softball for the Town of Dracut. As busy and involved as she was, her primary focus was always her husband and family.
