Women Taking a Stand-Roaring into the Future

Feb 05, 2017 05:31AM ● By Theresa Gilman
For over twenty-one years, Lowell Women's Week has celebrated women in the community, from the women who came before us to the women of today. Free public events take place at locations throughout the city, recognizing women's achievements, struggles, and extraordinary contributions to our community. Enjoy performing arts, historical explorations, community gatherings, skills workshops, lectures, and more. The Annual Breakfast will take place on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Lenzi's in Dracut. This year's keynote speaker is Julie Chen, Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts.
