Dracut got 19 points and four rebounds from Melissa Iannuzzo but couldn't keep up with powerful Andover.
Senior Kayla Gooch, added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Julia Otoski chipped in with 6 points.  Kat Morissette had 5 points.

Whittier Tech 47, Gr. Lowell 38

Gr. Lowell got nine points each from Araceli Lopez, Michaela Kelly and Jailene Medina in the loss to Whittier. .Fatta Krah and Shaidiamond Vazquez also played well for the Gryphons (5-4).

Michaela Kelly scored 19 points as Greater Lowell Tech defeated the Academy of Notre Dame, 54-35, in a Commonwealth Athletic Conference girls basketball game.

Araceli Lopez had 11 points and 6 rebounds to lead Greater Lowell. Aliana Hernandez added 8 points and 5 rebounds.

Dracut 64, Methuen 62

Melissa Iannuzzo had a huge game, with 31 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists for the Middies in their win over Methuen. Freshman Ashliegh Cox and junior Julia Otoski had 12 points each for Dracut.

More important was the win was the game itself, which was the "All You Need is Love" game and served as a fundraiser for the Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation. The teams combined to raise $3,100.

In a battle for supremacy in the CAC, Greater Lowell (8-2) pushed Chelsea to overtime before falling, 81-76.
Paul Choate led the Gryphons with 28 points. Ricky Byron added 15, while Ian Kirumira had 10 points and 16 rebounds.

Greater Lawrence 77, Greater Lowell 71
The Gryphons (8-3) lost to a tough Greater Lawrence team 77-71.  Ian Kirumira had a monster game with 24 points and a school record 26 rebounds.  Also, playing well were Luis Huertas (17 points), Ajani Phillip (nine points) and Caleb Scott.

Dracut 5, Weston 3

Jake Callery had the hat trick to lead the Middies to a win over Weston. Troy Thirkell and Alec Vella also scored.

Nate Lapointe dished out a pair of assists for the Middies. Adam Berger, Kyle Diaz, Kyle McManus and Vella had one each assist each for Dracut.

Dracut 7, Hamilton-Wenham 0

Andrew Dickson had a pair of goals and assist as the Middies romped to an easy win. Defenseman Kyle McManus also scored twice. Austin Ciszek added a goal and an assist.

Jake Callery, Tyler Roberge and Nate Lapointe dished out two assists each. Goalies Ryan Hardy and Fred Kaszalski combined for the shutout.

The Gryphons improved to 9-4 overall, 2-1 in CAC by thrashing Essex Tech..
