Maurice “Moe” A. Therriault

DRACUT, MA - Maurice “Moe” A. Therriault, 76, Born in Lowell on February 15, 1940 and a former 22 year resident of Las Vegas, died peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Elaine M. (Proulx) Therriault, with whom he shared 54 loving years of marriage.

He was a son of the late Raoul and Rita (Lizotte) Therriault. Moe was a graduate of Lowell Tech, and then went on to proudly serve his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, until he was honorably discharged. For over 23 years, Moe worked as an Electro-plater for MaCOM in Burlington. Prior to his retirement, he was a Supervisor at the Las Vegas Hilton.

In his spare time, Moe could be found sitting in front of the computer, cruising the internet. He enjoyed spending time outdoors at the Sheehan compound whether it was setting up for a cookout, landscaping, or tending to the pool of his nephew, causing his family to affectionately refer to him as the "cabana boy." Moe also enjoyed playing dominos, and watching tennis and golf with his wife and his regular trips to Walmart. Above all, his most cherished time was spent at home with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife Elaine, he is survived and will be deeply missed by his son, Mark A. Therriault and his wife Rosemary of CA; two brothers, Russell Therriault and his wife Shirley of FL, and Leo Therriault and his wife Cathy of Lowell; two sisters, Janet O'Brien and her husband Richard of Dracut, and Donna Linton and her husband Al of TX; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by his son, Maurice A. "MJ" Therriault, Jr.; and a brother, Richard Therriault.
