Dracut, MA --- DATV announced a winter vacation Television Camp for Kids (ages 10-13) at a fee of $50 per child to be held Tuesday, February 21 through Friday, February 24 from 12:30pm – 2:30pm at the DATV studio located at 91 Mill Street, Suite 7.

Participants will learn video production skills that include studio camera and control room operation, lighting and audio techniques, chroma key (green screen effects) and editing.  Using these skills, they will produce several short productions which will air on DATV's public access channel (Ch. 8).

This is a great opportunity for kids to learn how a television show is created from beginning to end, and it’s a fun, educational activity for them during the February school vacation.

Those interested in registering should contact DATV's Operations Manager Ron Zimmerman at 978-957-5522 or by email at [email protected]

Dracut Access Television is a non-profit corporation which operates the community’s public television studio.  Programming can be seen on Comcast channels 8, 22 and 99.  For further information, the public is invited to call 978-957-5522 or visit
