Obituary: Edward Everett White, 78

Born in Richmond, Vermont on January 30, 1938, Edward was a son to the late Arthur and Ruth (Calkins) White. After graduating from Dracut High School, he attended Bentley University and went on to earn his Master's Degree from Babson College. Edward was employed by Raytheon as a Controller for over 30 years and subsequently worked as a self-employed General Contractor until his retirement.
Edward was an avid fan of all New England sports and enjoyed watching and cheering on his favorite teams. He was an incredibly loving and giving person who quickly made many friends while attending pulmonary rehab at Rivers Edge in Manchester.
Along with Edward's wife, Kathleen, he is survived and will be deeply missed by his children, Deborah Tropp and her husband Stephen of Derry, NH, and Pamela White of Westford; his extended family, Sean Fanning of Milford, NH, Trevor Fanning of Salem, NH, Eric Fanning and his wife Sherrylee of Pelham, NH, and Heather Dellucci and her husband Steven of Hudson, NH; grandchildren, Matthew and Casey Tropp, Joseph and Kylie Difonzo, and Ethan and Owen Fanning; brother, Robert White and his wife Jean of Dracut, MA; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Edward was predeceased by his sister, Ruth Anne Reed.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on MONDAY, January 9, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Edward's funeral service will also take place in the funeral home directly following calling hours, with burial to take place afterwards at Fairview Cemetery in Westford, MA.
